The Swiss Innovation Week – Home of Drones was an opportunity for Nivitec to present its project to a strong audience of investors, industrial experts, Chinese media and learn more about the Swiss drone ecosystem. It was also the opportunity to attend discussion panels and high-level conferences as well as a drone race. An unique experience!

The Hes-so University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland celebrated yesterday its 20th anniversary at the BCV Hall in Lausanne. It is with pride that Nivitec blew the candles of this anniversary alongside the rectorial body, professors but also students. Alumni and graduate of the School of Engineering, Jonathan Michel presented on this occasion the start-up from this flagship institution in Switzerland to whom we wish long life!
In addition to its mission to support the entrepreneurial creation in Valais, the Foundation The Ark is also a spokesperson for innovation and the Valais technological ecosystem. On January 14, our team defended its avalanche detector drone project against the jury of the Gebert Rüf Foundation at the Impact Hub in Bern. The challenge was to benefit from the incentive program for UAS graduates BREF – First Ventures.
The day after this defence, we received a positive response from the foundation. Today, we have the great pleasure of sharing with you this good news that will allow us to pursue the entrepreneurial and human adventure of our young start-up Nivitec!

Nivitec continues its adventure in the entrepreneurial world and takes up residence at the Espace Création in Sion as an emerging project! With the support of CimArk via the Ark grant, the young start-up aims to deploy in the emergency drone market with the objective of developing a first prototype of the Snøw drone for this winter.
On May 4, the BeX Day took place at the HES-SO Valais-Wallis in Sierre, during which 7 school-companies presented and defended their start-up in front of an audience of more than 250 people.
A special and emotional day for Nivitec, who won the SwissLife Select Award for the best Business eXperience project!
